This morning we poked around Bar Harbor, Maine in the cute little shops there. We at brunch at a cute restaurant called Testa's there by the harbor. Felt like we were stepping back in time to the 20’s. It was a cute restaurant with really good food and a lovely server who was a lot of fun! It was a very heavy breakfast, but so yummy! We left for New Hampshire around noon, and saw some BEAUTIFUL country on the way! The trees are GORGEOUS right now with all the fall colors!!! We saw all the fall foliage and some beautiful old farms and homes sporadically dotting the countryside on the twisting little highways. We arrived at our cute Bed and Breakfast around 5pm. It’s a huge old home with creaky stairs and old wood floors. We took some pictures out in the yard with all the cute pumpkins and hay bales they had lying around. We went to the grocery store to get dinner because we couldn’t find any restaurants open! (Very small town we were in…Jackson, NH.) We went back to our room and played Shanghai Rummy ‘til bedtime… It got really warm in our room because it had a huge fireplace and we were cold when we got back from dinner, so we turned it on, but it was too much for our little room! We turned it off and opened the windows to cool off!
