We went to a Thai restaurant for dinner that Megan and Todd love and had Curry chicken and Curry beef and orange chicken. The fried rice was really good too! We were so full after! We decided to take a drive up Provo Canyon to take a walk and work off dinner. Vivian Park (up past Bridal Veil Falls) was super crowded and there was no where to park so we took the back road behind it that led to an even bigger park I didn’t even know was there called South Fork Park. It had a huge grassy area and lots of pic nic benches and fire pits along the river/stream. Dad and I walked around a bit while Megan, Todd and Katelyn snoozed on the grass! I talked them into getting up and we played
“K I L L” on the lawn for quite a while! You pass a volley ball to each other and spell the word kill as you hit it and the person to catch the ball after the last L gets to throw it at someone and try to get them out. If that person catches the ball they can throw it and get someone else out. Needless to say dad and Todd dominated that game and won every time we played! Katelyn got upset that they kept targeting her but it was because they saw her as the threat!! We had fun though and it was such a beautiful evening!’
We came down the mountain and played Shanghai Rummy (I’m on a winning streak right now!! I won again!!). Todd, Megan and I all cut it right on and got 35 points off and Todd even did it again!! But I won and that was awesome!! Then we played a super fun several rounds of Code Names— girls against boys. Todd and dad won that game! Katelyn gave the worst clues!! It was so funny!! Then she said “H” for 3 (which you can’t do) and there were 4 H words and of course I guessed the ONLY one that wasn’t our word!! Megan and I both said, KATELYN!!” at the same time!! Too funny!! Another late night but a super fun day!
