Quiet 4th of July!

It was a weird 4th of July this year!  Katelyn had to work so we had our yearly traditional BBQ yesterday, so tonight I went to get take-out at Chipotle, but they were CLOSED!!  So weird!  So there was a Sprouts nearby, so I got the quick idea to just get a bunch of Sushi... so we brought all this yummy Sushi over to Mom's house and enjoyed it with her.  It was a quiet night for us, even though fireworks were going off all around us because there were no firework shows this year...so people were taking matters into their own hands hardcore!  I thought Paisley was going to lose it!!  She was so scared and shivering-- we found her cowering under McKenzie's desk, of all places!  I grabbed her and held her close trying to calm her but it didn't work.  She was shivering even after all the noise stopped!  I felt so badly for her!!  After Katelyn got home at 10pm from work, everybody was already tired and nobody wanted to set off the fireworks I bought, so it was just kind of a weird 4th for us!  (Guess we'll have to set them off on the 24th of July when we're with Todd and Megan up in Utah!  That will be fun!)  We had some GOOD Sushi though!!
