An Enjoyable July 24th @ Lagoon and Some Fireworks!

We left for the Lagoon around 10:30 to pick up Megan and Todd. When we got closer we got Jimmy Johns for lunch and ate it in the car on the way. Lagoon was so much fun! They have some really fun roller coasters! I rode almost all of them. Some I knew not to go on!! Todd talked Katelyn into doing several rides that the rest of us sat out on! Katelyn felt sick after a really spinny one. I knew I’d feel sick on that one! It went forwards and then backwards too! Yuck!! 🤢 We had to wear masks whenever we were in the lines for the rides but other than that it felt so normal to be out and having fun at an amusement park that is OPEN!! There weren’t that many people there so we never waited very long to go on a ride at all!! I think people are staying away and plus is was a weekday... but it was also the 24th, which is a holiday in Utah so idk why there weren’t that many people!! It was so nice though!! We left around 6 because we’d done all the rides!! (It closes at 8!) We headed back to Orem and went to Cubby’s for dinner. I loved my burger and the sweet potato fries were so good!!

We went to Megan and Todd’s to get their swim suits and went to our hotel to go in the hot tub but there were a BUNCH of kids in the pool and also in the hot tub. It looked like a family reunion in there. And those hotel pools aren’t that big! They were all doing canon balls and it was CRAZY in there! So we decided to go back up to the room and wait them out! We watched Deal or No Deal while we waited. We headed back down there a little later and THEY WERE STILL THERE! We decided to just go for it but then the hotel staff guy came in and said it was closing! Ugh! We waited all that time and then it was closing! Well we’re gonna have to do it another time! We went back to Megan and Todd’s house to light our fireworks and Tanner and Andi came over too. We watched a movie after but I was OUT within the first 15 minutes!! I came in and out though and was following it a little! Hahaha! We didn’t get back to the hotel until around 2am! We were all so tired!!
