For my birthday, Bill got me one of the foldable/collapsible wagons (which we used later on in the week to have a picnic up the canyon)-- I needed one of these wagons YEARS ago... He also miraculously found the 2016 medal from the Phoenix Half Marathon... the one I was told they were out of. I wanted to run it virtually last February to complete my 5 year Star with all the medals forming the 5 pointed star-- I missed that year, but when I emailed and then subsequently called, they'd already sold out of them! He ended up calling the lady in charge of the race, and she found one in the back office just laying around, and just gave it to Bill! So now, I will be able to complete the race virtually for 2016 and have the set of 5 stars! I'm so HAPPY! He also gave me the clear acrylic state of Arizona to put all the medals in, so that it looks like a star when you put them all together-- that was laying around in their office, as well! That was a really cool gift! (Now I've gotta start training, so I can actually EARN it!!!) He also got me these "tiles" that I can put on things and connect to my phone so I don't lose them. I got him something similar for Father's Day for his key chain. All very thoughtful gifts. I really enjoyed this day!!!
A Memorable 51st Birthday!
7.26.2020

I had a really nice birthday today!! We had Sacrament Mtg and yummy Korean BBQ for lunch that Todd prepared and cooked. We watched a few episodes of The Chosen, which were really super interesting! I opened my birthday gifts and later on Tanner and Andi came over. We had cake and ice cream and played volleyball in the backyard— also the game KILL. It was a beautiful evening! Later we did those Korean facials with the funny masks. It was such a fun birthday spending it with family!
