The Mesa-Phoenix Half Marathon!!! YAY!!!

I went to the Expo yesterday and picked up my packet and bib # and enjoyed walking around all the booths-- even got a nice chair massage!  It felt really nice!  I stayed at Allison's house last night and we had a nice visit.  I woke up at 3am and got out to my car at 4am and it WOULDN’T START!!  And it was REALLY COLD!!  I had to wake up Allison who then woke up Jordan to come out and jump it for me.  Luckily it started right up and I was able to get to the parking lot to catch the bus to take me to the race start!  It was a good run!  I really pushed myself, because I wanted to PR—I ended up knocking over a minute and a half off my other PR, so I met that goal, but am regretting it now!  I am so sore and tired!  I really pushed myself! Dad and Katelyn came out to cheer me on and used the cute poster that Brooke made when they cheered me on in my first race.  They met up with me after and we walked around all the booths for a bit after I stretched and had a massage and then we headed back.  We went to Mimi’s Café for some yummy omelets for breakfast on the way home.  It was a rough day as I was so sore and so tired!  I got a 2:03 flat on my race… pretty proud of that time!
