Japan Day 10- Travel Day!

Travel day!!!  We had such an amazing time!  This is hands down one of my favorite trips and places!  Japan-- you are an incredible place with an amazing culture and people!  We loved it here!  We learned a lot of Japanese words but the most useful/helpful was sumimasen!  We used this everyday!  Hahahaha!  (It means "excuse me" or "I'm sorry.)  In Kyoto they don't say arigato for thank you...they say Okinee. So we impressed the locals with our vast vocabulary when we responded with okinee instead of arigato! Well it has come to an end.  Our guides were so knowledgeable and fun-- Sunny (pictured below on the right side) was a hoot!  He had such a cute raspy laugh/voice and saw humor in everything. Mai (next to him) spoke beautiful English with hardly any accent and was so nice!  The Japanese people were my FAVORITE part of this trip!!  They are the most kind, gracious and polite people I have EVER met!  Someday maybe we will come back to this fascinating place! 

It was a long flight back as we flew to Korea, then to Seattle, then finally HOME to Arizona!  But we got to talk to Brooke (it's Monday) on our layover in Seattle. It was fun telling her all about our adventures and the culture. She is doing so well and it makes me so happy that she's so happy!  When we got home we broke out the kimonos and let McKenzie and Katelyn try them on.  They are so soft and luxurious!  Us girls will really enjoy these!  Goodnight-- even though it feels like 12 noon!
