God Works in REALLY Mysterious Ways (Brooke's Letter)

2.03.2020

Wow I LOVE BEING A MISSIONARY!

So this week has been pretty CRAZY COOL!
-WE STARTED TEACHING AND SET A BAPTISMAL DATE WITH OUR FRIEND DAH WAH!! THIS KID IS SO COOL! (Sorry I forgot caps lock was on lol but yes it's hype!) We taught him the Restoration and the Plan of Salvation and it just clicked with him and he really loved them! So we are super excited to help him learn more and get baptized!
- OK so now for the way God works in REALLY Mysterious ways... We got hit by a CAR! A hit and run my friends and it was the worst day ever because we got blamed for the accident even though we didn't do it! Anyway, later we got the blessed tender mercy that some one actually WITNESSED IT! AND GOT PICTURES AND VIDEO! LIKE HOLLY MOLLY! WE ARE SAVED! (Lol forgot about caps lock again haha sorry) And guesssssss whatttttt? THE PEOPLE THAT WITNESSED AND GOT ALL OF THAT INFORMATION ARE KAREN!!!!!! And they are the cutest family ever! SO COOL! Anyway, God must've really wanted us to meet them to make us (and our car) go through all of that but I'd say it was worth it!!!
- Another fun story is that GOD HELPED ME PLAY THE UKELELE. Haha. We went into a lesson to meet some new people and they wanted me to play some hymns on the UKELELE for them to sing to and God helped me play!! Lol. It would have been really awful otherwise!
- The last story for this week is from a lesson we had with a really awesome Karen member and she told us about the blessings she has seen from paying her Tithing. It was one of the most sincere and powerful testimonies of Tithing I've ever heard! I know God wants to bless us and WILL when we make a covenant like that with Him! I am so grateful for a Heavenly Father who wants to bind Himself in all of His glory and power to us imperfect humans! How amazing is that?

I am so grateful to be a missionary and to interact with all of these people! This church is true! God is real! He loves us!

I love you all! Have a great week!

hello
Hello! I’m Mindy. I love Spring and Fall weather, the BYU Cougars, reading, hiking and of course…my family! I LOVE being with them doing just about anything…but usually attending one of their games or just hanging out!
