We visited the ruins in Ephesus today and it was AMAZING! We saw all the marble lined streets with all their public buildings-- we saw the Library of Celsus (we took the group picture in front of this), the Temple of Hadrian and The Grand Theater. They even had public toilets! Hahaha! We then visited the Terrace Houses located and built into the Pion Mountain. There are 6 residential units, built on three man-made terraces. These houses, settled by wealthy citizens of Ephesus, were very fancy and decorated with wall frescoes and floor mosaics that are still in such good condition considering how old they are! There were a lot of steps and climbing from top to bottom to see them all! It was a fun but hot and sticky day!
