Another week down and I'll be 4 months into my mission this week! It rains everyday here in Nexton and we have met a lot of amazing people!
Seeds of Faith
It's awesome how the Spirit works! We had extra time one day and decided to act on a Bing and go to this one inactive/non member's house who no one has been able to contact ever! We knock once then twice and there's no answer and as we are walking back to our car after yet another try... Kelly opens the door!!! She even invited us in and was more closed off at first but we asked inspired questions and she felt comfortable to open up about a lot of stuff that has been going on and things keeping her from church! We had a really uplifting conversation filled with love and understanding and when we prayed we all felt our Heavenly Father's love and guidance. It was so so awesome! Missions really aren't just for the people we baptize! They are, at least for me, how I have learned to love members, nonmembers, strangers, companions, and myself more as Christ does without judgment. Now I'm definitely not perfect haha, but I am trying really hard!
Luke 7:47 Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.
*INVITATION*
I think we forget sometimes that love is central to God's plan! We all can be really hard on ourselves for not doing enough. We may get frustrated that we are not sprinting down that straight path to God. But if we stop, hold someone's hand and walk/crawl/sit a while even with them, we will see Christ work in us as we come together in our journey's back home! So strive to hold someone's hand this week! Don't push or pull, but just be there for them and understand their journey and lift them up! Hold their heart<3 I promise that you will form connections with people you never thought you could!
Pockets of Fun
-I ate a whole Jalapeño and cried
-Ants apparently follow Westy around cuz one night they were in our room and we didn't have any bug spray so we tried hairspray which kinda worked haha but also didn't.
-Every single member meal but one that I have had here in Nexton has been Mexican food and I love it. It reminds me of home:)

-Our p-day adventure to the place where Dear John was filmed was a 10/10 success--super fun and pretty!
-Our gym has a boxing bag so I have been able to kickbox again!... mostly. I busted my knuckles the first day because I had the wraps but not gloves so it ripped my skin off but when those heal and I get some gloves it'll be so nice!!!
-I love my district so much. The Spanish missionaries are hoots and the senior couple missionaries are so funny too haha--love them!
Gratitude

Southern Things
THE CAROLINA REAPER: the hottest pepper in the world! I've come in contact a few times with this from multiple people but haven't had the guts to take a bite! I'll let y'all know if I do--may needa go to the hospital though haha!
