Lots of Little Things @ the House!

The pony wall for the kitchen island went in, the fireplaces were completed with the plywood installed, plumbing and duct work continues, general framing is all being finished up today, they are doing all the "penetrations" through the roof, so that they can start installing the roof-- in the picture below you can see our laundry vent. This is the only hole Terry couldn't divert to the back of our house since it had to be a shorter distance by code. I like that he tries to divert as much as possible so that the front of our house looks "clean". This shouldn't be too noticeable and the dormers will still be the show piece of our home. They are also installing all the waterproofing around the dormers and awnings in preparation to install the roof. It's great to see the framing finish up and the plumbing in full swing! Bill has his plywood in the rafters of the garage in case we ever need to store anything up there. I sure hope not! This house should have plenty of that!
