Pumpkin Spice Hold Onto Christ! (Katelyn's Letter)

Hey y'allll!

Short email this week 'cuz I just don't feel like writing a fatty one lol. We had Zone Conference which was awesome. I got to see friends from home and the MTC again so that was tender and I learned a lot about the Atonement and finding JOY! I LOVE JOY!!

Seeds of Faith
My comp's favorite scripture is Joshua 1:9

Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

*INVITATION*

Life is crazy and scary sometimes but God is with us and He will never leave us even and especially through the hardest times so HOLD ON TO HIM! Study 2 Nephi 2 this week and discover the joy found in and from trials that cannot be found in anyone but Jesus Christ!

Fun Things

-We did service setting up a pumpkin patch with other elders and members in our zone! Sooo fun!
-We went to downtown Charleston to window shop and site see and I went down Rainbow Row!!! Which it honestly isn't as amazing as everyone hypes it up to be but it was cool!

Gratitude

-Nadige and Julian are a couple from Haiti that we taught this week. They want their son to learn more about Jesus Christ! We taught about the restoration of our church and then they were really interested in God's plan of happiness for us so we will go back again and teach more of that! Their son DJ is really interested and loves Jesus so much. I am so grateful for parents who are able to teach their children to love and trust God at a young age. It is so awesome and cool!

-The smell and sound of the ocean!!! (And swimming in it but can't do that for another 14 months lol)
-FALL Y'ALL IM SO EXCITED!
