When Bill went over to the house today he found this dead bull snake-- which is a good snake-- it kills all the bad things!! Jim thinks an owl got him and when Bill drove up it scared him and he flew away and dropped the snake. I'm sooooo sad he is dead! He could've protected our property for many years!! He's probably one of Hank's offspring and Hank got run over by a car. I have to admit though... when I first saw this picture I freaked out! I thought it was a rattlesnake! I wonder if they mimic their coloring for safety? Apparently it didn't help him today... sad!! That aside-- they FINISHED putting in the stairs today! Yay! I'll be able to go down into my basement now!
