Today has just been a chill Sabbath day... We all slept in until 10!! I never sleep that late but it felt good! I ran into a pic nic table last night going to the bathroom late at night. I banged up my shins pretty good!! I was worried about the bears and mountain lions and a pic nic table got me! Haha! Bill went and got me some ice and I bandaged it up and went back to sleep. I have a pretty high pain tolerance but this one stung and throbbed. Brooke told me to put pressure somewhere else to distract my body and it helped!! Good to have nurse Brooke around!! (Yes, the entire ordeal woke everyone up!) I will definitely take my flashlight or phone next time! Lesson learned the hard way!! ✔️
Todd and Bill fixed scrambled eggs with steak and fruit for breakfast this morning. It’s been so fun to have Luke here. He’s loving the whole camping thing! Both Luke's got a picture together-- Cute!! And Grandpa (Great-Grandpa) enjoyed playing with Luke too! We also enjoyed bubble blowing, ping pong, actually playing cross net, and lounging in the cabin and hammock!!We had a testimony meeting and Grandma and Grandpa spoke to all of us. All the grandkids sang "Gethsemane" together! It was a sweet meeting and really capped off the day. Later, when it got dark, we all watched the interview of Grandma and Grandpa that Amber made. It was only supposed to be 1 1/2 hours long, but the rain on that tin roof made it impossible to hear it so she had to pause it several times. We were able to finish it though. It was fun to hear all about the different stages of their courtship and marriage-- some fun stories!!
