Today everyone else arrived… Marla and Kyle, grandma and grandpa, Frank and Stacee, Deric and Alana and Daniel and Jessica. It’s the younger group this year so we are the old guys! Hahaha! We went to the lake (Recapture Reservoir) and everyone kayaked… Bill set up his little island float for the little kids and everyone visited under the EZ-Ups while the kids played. It was so fun! We weren’t near the jumping rock because it was so crowded due to the holiday but the water was super low, so you couldn’t jump off of it anyway… Marla and I had dinner duty for that night so we came back and fixed dinner together… Lasagna, salad, garlic bread and watermelon. Deric brought birthday cake and ice cream to celebrate Liam’s birthday. Todd set up cross net and we played until after the sun went down! (Well I didn’t — I watched because Jenell and I ran 7 miles downhill that morning and I was tired and sore!) Cannon caught a fish at the lake and all the boys watched as Todd cleaned it and cooked it on the grill. It was pretty good, actually!
