Crabs, Santa and God's Inseparable Love (Katelyn's Letter)

7.18.2022

Hey y'allll!

This email's gonna be pretty short but HAL GOT BAPTIZED! Super proud of him-- he literally rocks not having his dentures in and his testimony is the sweetest! It's pretty dagum hot and humid here but we are hanging in there along with all the bugs and spiders! Also transfers are this week. Time has just flown by!

Seeds of Faith
Roman's 8:
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

*INVITATION*
Literally nothing can separate us from the love of God and the ultimate understanding and saving Atonement of Jesus Christ! So please reach out and talk to your Father in Heaven with sincere prayers this week and I promise you will be able to access that love more fully through Jesus Christ!

Fun Things
-I had a scary dream one night and apparently I got up and ran around my bed screaming that the crabs were attacking me in my sleep! Bahaha! Scared the bigeezers out of my comps.
-May or may not have left my phone on the hood of the car after our lesson outside with Hal and drove for a hot minute before seeing it just holding on for its life outside haha! It was chaos-- we were all freaking out going 45 mph!

Gratitude
-ONE OF MY AMAZING TRAINERS SISTER TOOMER IS GOING HOME! She's literally one of the best humans out there and I've learned so much from her kind and selfless love for the people here! We all are going to miss her soooo much! Much love and gratitude for Toomy that dagum fetcher! <33
-All y'alls prayers for the missionaries-- they mean a lot!
-South Carolina rain is like none other!
-Sidewalk chalk to write positive messages on the road-- 10/10 recommend!

Southern Vocab
Bumper Crop: This happens when plantations flourish and produce a lot of crop! (A member was talking about it and I had no idea what he was meaning so I had to ask haha.)

Pictures
1. Sisters P-Day w/ the zone! Cutest sisters ever! <3
2-3. Hal's Baptism!
4. Spinach and chocolate chips are bomb-- prove me wrong!
5. Comps:))
6-7. Member meals w/ the Jameson clan and the Clauses... jk the Lawhons!
8. Yes yes another sunset...

hello
Hello! I’m Mindy. I love Spring and Fall weather, the BYU Cougars, reading, hiking and of course…my family! I LOVE being with them doing just about anything…but usually attending one of their games or just hanging out!
