Our Family Christmas Trip to Washington D.C.!!!!!!!!

We left today for D.C.!!  We are all so excited (especially Megan!) to go see Megan's mission!  It will be so much fun to spend these next 6 days together in such an amazing and special place!!  Megan wasn't feeling well this morning so she took some Nyquil!  She slept through the whole travel process, which involved a layover in Atlanta!  It was a long day, but we finally made it!  We took the Metro with all our luggage to the hotel, because we didn't have a rental car yet.  It was surprisingly very easy, especially with Megan who knows her way around the system!  We stayed at the Embassy Suites in Friendship Heights at the Chevy Chase Pavilion, which is in one of Megan's old areas on her mission!  It accommodates our family well and if perfect for our stay here!
