Another transfer GONE and I'm still with Daines in Sumter North Columbia Zone!!!! LET'S GO! I'm so excited for this transfer--its gonna be fire. I can't believe it's my LAST Zone Conference with President and Sister Monson this week--absolutely bonkers! I'm gonna miss them tons. Also Gallman is GETTING BAPTIZED THIS WEEK!!! I'm so excited--idk if you can tell that I am so happy for him lol but I am! And he is sooooo ready and excited too. My emails have gotten so long holy moly recently haha! So this week I'm not doing as much. Also because Stevee and I have to practice for our musical numba tomorrow at Zone Conference. PRAY for us aha!
Seeds of Faith
Soooooo I've met a lot of people lately that say lots of things along the lines of, "Church isn't my thing" or "It's easier to go to that church on my block" or "My religion is more simple/easier than yours."
I love this quote I heard from another missionary:
Religion is not a matter of preference it's a matter of truth.
Truth is not easy. Truth is not convenient. And there will always be aspects of Truth that "Aren't your thing". But Truth is why I'm here in South Carolina. Because the Truth will also save. Truth will heal. Truth will answer your hearts deepest questions. I'm here to testify of the Truth that lies in Jesus Christ. His life wasn't easy or convenient. Living like He would will never be "my thing" because even He, the Savior of the WORLD shrunk from the task God asked of Him saying, "Remove this cup from me. But not my will, but thine be done". As I have been out here I feel I have lived the closest in my life to how Christ lived and it is HARD. Forgetting my will, forgetting my conveniences, forgetting my assumptions and preferences and leaning more on Him than my own understanding is hard. Rejected over and over is hard. Building up and tearing my hope hundreds of times by those I love because they prefer their comforts over the joy that comes from KNOWING the Truth and centering life completely on it!

Religion is not a matter of preference.
It is a matter of truth.
Be strong in Christ and I promise you it will all be worth it.
