A Day in the Outer Banks, NC...

Friday I got up and went running and then we all headed for North Carolina (the Outer Banks) to help set up for the wedding. We met up with Jordan and Emily and met her family. They are super nice people and her older sister Amanda is so much fun! The wedding is at a vineyard and is a super pretty venue and very rustic! We helped set up tables and some décor outside where the ceremony is. Then we headed a little further south on the outer banks where someone has a beach house and helped Allison set up the Groom's dinner. It was a typical house on stilts with the weathered shingle siding— so cute!! Allison had it catered, but we helped her set up the tables with tablecloths and centerpieces. It was such a yummy dinner with crab cakes and sweet potato biscuits, salad and veggies. She got Nothing Bundt Cakes for dessert. Everyone got to choose the flavor they wanted in individually wrapped cakes. Yum!! We visited for a bit and then cleaned up and headed for our hotel just up the road. It got cold when the sun went down!  We were all freezing!  Again… we played Shanghai until too late!!
