Let the Fall Season Begin!
9.30.2022
We drove up the mountain to a little cooler temperatures this afternoon to celebrate FALL at Mortimer Farms in Dewey-- near Prescott Valley, for an Edward Jones Region activity! Bill was on his way home from St. Lewis where he attended the FA Leader's Conference with Jones, so he couldn't come. I bummed a ride with Megan and Todd! It ended up being such a fun afternoon and the weather was crisper and cooler an hour north! We enjoyed the activities on the farm and a nice catered dinner with s'mores for dessert! There was a magician, a big jumping pillow, slides, merry-go-rounds, goats to pet and other animals to see, and LOTS of cute pumpkins-- but the cutest pumpkin in the patch was Lukey Bear!! We had such a fun time!!
Roofing and Plumbing in Progress...
Roofing and plumbing is going in full steam ahead and we got our windows that were on backorder-- this is great news!! (As soon as the windows all go in, we can do the outside of the house with the siding, etc.) Painters also came to put the sealing clear coat stain on all the wooden corbels under the awnings over the windows. We are making progress. The last pictures below were the roofing in progress at 1:30pm today... the first ones were from this morning...
