San Diego! Day 4

Wednesday I got up a little later and went running again. It’s always overcast in the mornings but it burns off between 11 and 1pm into a nice sunny day! Katelyn, Megan and Todd took a 2 hour surfing lesson in the afternoon. It was such a beautiful day on the beach! They had so much fun! They all were able to get up and ride some waves! This beach was down by the harbor by my turn around point for my run so I recognized it when we drove up! Duran, the teacher was super friendly and nice and was a really good coach! He’s a professional surfer and you can just tell it’s in his blood! He was a lot of fun and had a super chill surfer personality. We came back and made homemade spaghetti and a green salad. It all tasted so good! Megan helped me prep it all and get it on the table. Later after our dinner settled we roasted marshmallows and made s’mores down on our patio. We played lots of Rook which Todd really loves, so that was so much fun! (BTW Bill and I beat Todd and Megan!)

In the surfing pictures, it's hard to tell who's who, but Megan had a green board and her hair was in a pony tail and Katelyn had a blue board and her hair was down.  Todd also had a blue board-- same color as Katelyn.
