Lake Powell- Day 4

The Bingham's prepared yummy breakfast burritos for their group meal this morning.  They had a fruit salad to go with it and it all tasted so good!  It was our first FULL day out on the lake today and it was a FUN day!  Yay!!!  (But it still had it's bumps and bruises!)  Robin and Katelyn slept out under the stars on the top of the houseboat.  The night sky is just FULL of so many bright stars... it's gorgeous!  Bill, Robin and I went on a walk this morning before breakfast and got some pictures.  I just can't stop taking in all the beauty that is here!  Everywhere you look there are amazing views!  Katelyn and Bill went out on Livingstone's boat this morning with Jim, Captin, Jed, Mary and Luke.  Jamie and I went out on a jet ski and saw some more gorgeous scenery!  We found everybody on the boat and sprayed them with our jet ski.  Jim was unhappy and chewed Jamie out.  (It was perfectly fine for her to go in front of the boat because it wasn't moving.)  We got everybody wet... it was great!!  Jamie is so much fun!!  Katelyn got to learn how to wake board, but took a really bad wipe out and got a minor concussion...she laid in my bed for the rest of the day and was kind of  quiet after she woke up for the rest of the day.  These things just keep happening!  Ugh!!  I felt so bad for Katelyn!  Bill got some good shots of her wake boarding before it happened though.  He was videoing when she took the bad fall.  Jed was able to catch some MAJOR air as he flipped and went UPSIDE DOWN!!!  Got a cool picture of it!  I went out wake surfing with Nate, Nicole and Jamie on Nate's boat and got my hand tied up in the rope when I fell and it gave me a rope burn across my right hand (my already bum hand!) and it made my middle knuckle and whole hand swell really badly.  Came back to the boat and iced it, and then again later on.  We spent the afternoon just chillling and enjoying the houseboat.  The kids fished and Brody caught a big catfish!  Before dinner we took a group picture to document our group here on the lake.  During the day Owen must've gotten bored because he took some flat rocks and made a path up to our camp on the beach.  Bill also put some tiki torches along the path and lit the fire on the beach.  We enjoyed another wonderful meal prepared by the DeGraffenried's tonight.  We had burgers with all the fixings (even sliced avocados!) and yummy watermelon.  Brownies-- well blondies and peanut butter bars for dessert.  Jed grilled all the burgers!  It tasted so good after a long day on the lake!  Later on, we all had a dance party on the top deck!  Katelyn and some others were around the campfire while Katelyn played her guitar.  I never got over there to listen, but it looked like they were having fun and things were a lot calmer over there!  The music was loud on the houseboat and I wondered if we were bothering any of the other people out on the lake along the shore???  Who know's, but we were LOUD!  The adults (some of them) stayed up and played Code Names... we all laughed so hard!  We were very tired and punchy that night!  It was a long day and we got to bed well after midnight.

Oh and Jamie's prank for the day was cute little critters on everyone's pillows and even bigger ones in the shower and on the sink!  She's a crack up!  She just giggles and laughs and thinks it's so funny!  Again, her laughing about it is what I think is so funny!  She's a hoot!
