Before Megan and Todd left, we went out into the park to take a few pictures with
Katelyn’s camera, so we could all be in them. It was fun to get some nice (and funny) shots! I have really enjoyed this
Mother’s Day! I love the blanket Bill got for me, I love the cute little
picture frame McKenzie got me, I love that Megan and Todd flew down for the
weekend to spend time with us, I love Brooke's cute video with her zone and the
one from this morning singing Primary Mother's Day songs with Sister Norton, and I love Katelyn’s song and video she made!
These beautiful, heartfelt and thoughtful gifts are what mean the most to
me! I love all my children so much and I feel so blessed to have such good
children. I thank Heavenly Father EVERY SINGLE DAY for sending each one of them to me! My life has been and continues to be so blessed because all of them are in it!
We left for the Mesa airport around 10:45 this morning and I
didn’t like that I had to say goodbye to Megan and Todd! We enjoyed the
drive to the airport and Katelyn went with us! It was fun to use that time
to visit before they had to go!
We had Sacrament Mtg. at Grandma’s at 2:00 and then Bill cooked such a yummy dinner for Mom and all of us. (Beef Stroganoff with Riced Cauliflower and a yummy salad, and Keto Brownies for dessert!) We enjoyed a lazy afternoon at Grandma's house eating and enjoying each other's company!
Katelyn wanted some pictures with Grandma on her camera, so she was able to walk out front with her walker and stand just long enough to get these shots! They turned out so sweet! It was a peaceful Sabbath
afternoon and I thoroughly enjoyed every single minute of it! Goodbyes are always tough and it was hard to say goodbye to Megan and Todd, but we will see them soon-- either at Lake Powell or in June when we go to San Diego. (They aren't sure yet if they can go to Lake Powell...) I love my family so much! They are my greatest blessing!!
