Happy Easter (Resurrection) Sunday!

We attended a beautiful Sacrament Meeting today where we heard talks about how the Savior rescued us (Julie Spear), the Holy Week (Darren Holmes), and what "to ransom" (or to resurrect) means (Jon Boizelle). They were all such good talks and I felt the Spirit strongly during each of them and as I sang the Easter hymns. Tears came to my eyes as I reflected on ALL that He has done for the world and for ME!! The Primary performed a beautiful song and the choir (directed still by Todd!) sang such a beautiful medley of Easter hymns even though their numbers were very small-- more men than women, too! It was a beautiful meeting and I feel so blessed! All good things have truly come from HIM!! We came home and took these pictures in our beautiful GREEN and lush backyard! I love my family-- even and especially those who aren't here right now!! We love and miss Brooke and Katelyn so much!!

Also my sweet ministering sisters brought these Easter Lilies over sometime last night... I found them on my porch late!  Marci Haines and her daughter Julia have been such sweet friends!  I will miss them when we move and when they move!  They are moving up to Utah the same time we move to our new house!  I love that another name for these flowers is White Robed Apostles-- I'd forgotten that!  Mom always loved Easter lilies too... reminds me of her!  I think of her often and especially around this time of year!  Love you Mom!!!
