More Board and Batten Siding Going Up!

More progress on the siding is going on! It's exciting to see the style and personality of our home take shape. We also passed 3 major inspections today, as well. We passed the mid-term grading and drainage, the revised electrical (that the city threw a fit about and made us draw it out again and get it approved and the whole redline process again which took about 2 additional weeks of our time) and the insulation. Terry informed me that we only have 2 more inspections to go! One will be a grading and drainage inspection, which we should pass because we aren't going to change any of that until after our Certificate of Occupancy is issued, and then the final inspection when the house is finished where we get the C of O! There should be smooth sailing as far as the city is concerned until the last inspection. So the next thing up is dry wall and it should be delivered this Wednesday and workers are scheduled to come in this Thursday and start. Now that could change if the job they're on now isn't finished by Thursday, but that is the plan! We are moving full steam ahead! I am working on getting tile, countertops and hardware finalized this week as well. I finalized our countertops with Clint and I've picked out all my tile. Now I just need to buy all the hardware for the cabinetry throughout the house and I just counted it all up and there is A LOT of it! The kitchen alone has 86 knobs that I need to buy!
