We went with Brooke to her ward this morning. I am really impressed with her Bishop-- Bishop Slighting. He spoke with us for a while after Sacrament Meeting wanting to know how best to take care of Brooke. He was so genuine and sincere! His wife was really sweet too... I met her briefly in the hall on my way to the bathroom...hahaha! She is in good hands and Katelyn will have him as a Bishop too, when she gets back from her mission. It is comforting to know that she and Brooke both have a good Bishop!! He already knows she is coming and told us he was excited to have her in his ward. Brooke has a great ward! She had meetings after church, so we went back to the hotel and changed and then met up with her later for dinner. We had put a nice roast with potatoes and carrots in the crock pot before church and it smelled sooooo good as we walked in! We made a salad and had a nice dinner together. We played Shanghai and made cookies and played other games together-- like Speed, again... so FUN!! We didn't want to say good-bye tonight and didn't leave until 10:30... We have had so much fun with Brooke and have been able to spend a lot of time together! The only consolation was that we will see her in exactly 1 week for Thanksgiving and she will be home from Sunday to the Saturday after Thanksgiving! Yay!!!! I can't wait!!! We will see her bright and early in the morning as she is dropping us off at the airport, and then we will see her this Sunday. Still miss her though...
