Game Day with Brooke!

We had a really fun day with Brooke and a not so fun football game v. Iowa State-- basically a repeat of last week and losing really badly! (We stayed until the bitter end though... a lot of fans left and the stands were pretty empty. You don't usually see that at a BYU Football game!) We hung out with Brooke for the day and went up to the BYU bookstore. We found a cute BYU hat for Luke for his birthday coming up. He LOVES hats, so we think this will be a winner. We were hoping our fortune in our fortune cookie would come true for the game tonight, but maybe that pertains to something else--hahaha! It was really cold at the game-- I'm glad we got hand warmers at Wal-Mart last second. Brooke came over and sat with us later on in the game because there was plenty of room with everyone leaving. Even though we were losing and playing badly, it was fun to be together in the stands. We had a fun day today too. I'm ready to go back to warmer weather, though. I ran yesterday and today and it is NOT fun to run in the extreme cold. (I ran 6 this morning-- starting my Half Marathon training...) IT has been a lot of fun up here, though, and I'm glad we've been able to spend a lot of time with Brooke! So worth it!!!
