Pretty chill week this week. We went on exchanges with the Greenville sisters which was pretty fun! We also acted on more bings and saw more miracles from it as we have prayed for them, so that was super cool! We found many people who are interested in learning more about the joy and peace that this gospel offers!
Seeds of Faith
One of the miracles this week was that we found a girl named Lisa who we usually contact over the phone first but felt inspired to go visit her that day. We got to her house and it was completely burned down from a house fire and we weren't sure if it had been abandoned for a while or not, but stayed in the car for a little bit. Then Lisa walked out of a tent that she has been living in and talked to us. She told us that it was really recent and that she was super heartbroken. We felt so bad! But we were able to pray with her and we continue praying for her. God was definitely aware of her and led us to her that day to help! We had a lot of experiences this week like that where we have found new people who are ready to learn about the church and continue their journey closer to God. It has been so cool!
*INVITATION*
*INVITATION*
Routines are super important and help in preparation to have miracles, however sometimes they can cloud the feelings and promptings/bings we receive from the Holy Ghost! I invite all y'all to pray for miracles this week and be willing to change things up when those bings come! Just ACT! Faith is an action word y'all!! You got this and let me know the miracle y'all see this week. I can't wait to hear about it! I promise you will find those people and be an instrument in God's hands as He works miracles through you!
Pockets of Fun
-My disgusting protein drink is now infamous in the zone baha!
-On exchanges Sister Moreno and I met this awesome guy and shook his hand. Then like 5 minutes into the lesson, he starts rubbing his eye a lot and says he has pink eye... We were both silently freaking out haha! We poured hand sanitizer on our hands in the car.
-This hippy high guy told Tommy and I that he would thank us but he couldn't do it justice but then pointed to the air in front of himself and said that his Glorified self could do it right... we then told him to bring him and his Glorified self to church on Sunday hahaha!
-We are teaching an awesome college student named Jackson the lessons and Tiny (got baptized a couple months ago) and him have become best buds-- it's so awesome!
-Tommy and I went to THE ZOO for p-day! It was so fun. I always love to watch the monkeys haha and we also ran into other missionaries there which was cool hahaha. (I think the snakes were Tommy's fav part if you can't tell from the picture.)
-We met the same GINORMOUS spider (Georgy). I wrote about him in my other emails. This time we threw woodchips at him but then we broke his web and he started running towards us so we FREAKED OUT and ran into the car hahahaha!
