New Student and Parent Orientation, Making the "Y" and Women's Volleyball...

Thursday was parent and new student orientation all day. Brooke went with me to the parent orientation meetings and we had so much fun! We went to the Marriott Center where they had information booths and then there was a general meeting with the students. We tried to find Katelyn but couldn’t in a sea of new students. We had lunch and then walked across campus to our breakout sessions. There were some great classes with some good information. Katelyn was free in the afternoon so we walked around the student booths in the Wilk. Then we all went to dinner together at Zupas. Later I went and watched all the freshman form the Y on the field by the MTC and all the fun with performances by the band and Vocal Point. Kilani Sitaki also spoke to all the students too and got them pumped up. Katelyn got on TV tonight at the Women’s Volleyball game! She was in the student section behind the server and kept getting right in that shot whenever someone served! Hahaha!!  (Below is a picture of the sea of new freshmen at the Marriott Center...)
