I took the girls out to breakfast a Mimi’s! We had such a fun time talking and visiting! I really enjoyed that! It was always a tradition on the last day of school to go to lunch there, and they realized we hadn't done that this year, since everyone's "last day" was different... we talked about going all summer long and finally did it this morning! It's a great tradition!
Later, Brooke and I went and did Initiatories at the temple! She had an appointment, but when I went online after her to get an appointment, they were all taken. Today she REALLY wanted me to come with her, so I did and I experienced a tender mercy! They let me do them without an appointment! I felt so much peace as I listened carefully to the words! I am so glad that I was able to go! I really needed to feel the peace of the temple—I’ve been feeling really heavy with worry about A LOT of things, and it was a blessing to be inside the temple. After, Brooke and I went and sat in the Celestial room and I pondered some more there. I also read Helaman 5. I like that chapter! I really just didn’t want to leave! I could’ve stayed there a lot longer, but Brooke tapped me and was ready to go… I'm so blessed to have been able to spend some time with Brooke in the temple this evening!!! It truly is a place of PEACE!!
