Something I am learning is that attitude is EVERYTHING! A good attitude can turn any frown upside down!
Recently one of our leaders sent out some of his thoughts on simply SMILING that I thought was pretty neat!
"During the last two decades there has been a significant increase in the scientific research on the study of happiness. In an article by Melanie Curtin, she referenced a study that took place in the United Kingdom. Researchers used electromagnetic brain scans and heart-rate monitors to generate what they called “mood boosting values” for different stimuli. They had participants look at or listen to different things and measured how happy it made them. One thing trumped them all, a smile... How often do you smile in a day? Under 14% of us smile fewer than 5 times a day. More than 30% of us smile over 20 times a day. Guess how many times a day children smile? Up to 400 times a day. I never thought of this attribute when we are instructed to be as a little child."
I thought that was so powerful! Check how often you smile and remember to smile more!
We had some really awesome lessons this week! We had a lesson with a really awesome family we have been teaching and afterwards, all their children just attacked us with a bajillion hugs & it was so dang cute! We also found some really cool people to teach this week! It is so fun to find people that genuinely have been searching for the glorious message of the gospel! We had a really good lesson with our friend Dah Wah this week reviewing the Restoration and he is just so awesome! He really understands its importance and gets so excited! It is so fun to share the message that brings me so much joy and hope to all these people!
I love you all! Have a great week!
