Big news, Little email (Brooke's Letter)

Hello everyone!

I love & miss you all & would love to hear from you! 

I don't have a ton of time today but this week has been grrrrreat! We had a lot of fun & we got to teach some good lessons! 

One of my favorite things from this week is TESTIMONY. I love to hear other's testimonies & feel the power that comes from them! So Bear Testimony! It is Powerful! 

Ok now for the Big news...

Transfers are on Tuesday & I've been called to serve in the Karen area & learn Karen! I am super excited & super nervous but mostly excited! Wish me luck :) 

I am loving missionary work & I love this gospel! It really does change lives if we let it!

MORP!

Katelyn went to MORP with Seth Pehrson.  She had a lot of fun with him and the group she went with-- Maranda Schneberger went with Collin Proudfit and Isaac Proudfit went with a girl who just moved here, don't know her name.  It was a smaller group this time and Katelyn said it was super fun!  It wasn't as planned out and they had a lot of fun with it that way.  They went to the dance and actually stayed the whole time, then went out for a quick bite after the dance and then went to Maranda's house.  They didn't get dinner before the dance because Maranda was at a volleyball tournament until almost just before the dance started.  They had a lot of fun and I'm glad Katelyn went.  They had matching Lion King shirts!  Fun!!

Last Boat Day Until November!

Today we went out to the lake!  It will probably be the last time we go until November and it may be too cold by then… we have something on every Saturday until then!  It was GORGEOUS weather today… low 90’s and the water was perfect!  I was expecting it to be cold, but it wasn’t at all!! We went with Robin, Allison, Katelyn and Dad and I so we all got to surf as much as we wanted! (Robin came down for the weekend.) Katelyn is really doing awesome!  She's dropping the rope and learning to carve the wave.  She loses the wave quite often still, so she’s trying to learn how not to do that!  It’s a really soft way to fall, though!  Hahaha!  We had so much fun all being on the boat together!  We brought lunch and snacks and just had a really nice day!  I’m sore though… there’s always a price!  Allison got up for a bit and Robin is still trying to get up.  Robin almost had it figured out!  We got off the lake at 2 because we had to be at the ward Fire and Ice activity later and had to get the boat cleaned up and take showers, etc.  It takes a while to turn around! But it was a super fun day!  We are getting faster at launching and loading!  We PR'd today!  Hahahaha!
