We are in Vietnam and one of the first things we did was change some money into the Vietnamese Dong. Below is only $50 worth of cash. They say here that everyone is a millionaire, and now we are too! Hahahaha! We got to the hotel around noon and got settled in our room. We signed up immediately for a massage and went and enjoyed that together...and if felt AMAZING! They actually climb up on the table to get more leverage to massage deeper. I was a little surprised at first, but it felt so great! We ventured out into the streets-- which are actually pretty SCARY!! There are motor bikes EVERYWHERE and the street lights mean NOTHING to them!! You just cross the street and they go around you! We were instructed NOT to stop but to just go in the same direction and they will judge the distance and either go in front of you or around you! Whoa! This was hard to get used to! I stuck close to Bill and just closed my eyes-- nah just kidding. The safety of the sidewalk wasn't even always the case, because both motor bikes and cars drive somewhat on the sidewalks as well! It's crazy here! We reached our restaurant and had dinner and then made it back to our hotel ALIVE, after getting some things at the local "Circle K"!! The Vietnamese are very gentle, and happy people. We turned in early tonight, as we are jet-lagged and have an early morning tomorrow... we are going on an overnight cruise of Halong Bay-- one of the newest 7 wonders of the world and also a world heritage site...should be fun!
