Cabinets EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

4.10.2017

This is how my kitchen and entry way looked today!  There are literally cabinets EVERYWHERE!  I didn't know I had so many because we took the old ones out little by little and didn't stack them all over my house!  Wow!  I'm getting more and more excited about this kitchen renovation!  I wish it would go faster, but I have to be patient as they do all the necessary work!

Some of the upper cabinets got installed today, but mostly everything just got brought over from the shop, which took most of the day for one guy.  I asked him if he usually has a helper, and he said no.  I think it would've gone a lot faster with someone helping to bring everything in, at least.  Installing them probably just needs one person.  Also, I laughed at how they brought the cabinets.  They brought all the lower ones first and put them in my front entry way, leaving a small pathway for them to have to go through to bring the bulky upper cabinets, which are actually installed first!  If I had done it, I would've brought all the upper cabinets in first, installed them, and THEN brought the lower cabinets in and been able to bring them all the way into the kitchen thus only having to move them ONCE!  BUT...I quickly remembered that I don't think like everyone else!  But I also thought that it definitely would've saved time and energy to only move something once and to do it in a way that was more organized so that you don't have a small pathway to bring other bulky cabinets through.  And, I, as the customer, wouldn't have to wait so long!  But that's just the way I think! Ugh!

hello
Hello! I’m Mindy. I love Spring and Fall weather, the BYU Cougars, reading, hiking and of course…my family! I LOVE being with them doing just about anything…but usually attending one of their games or just hanging out!
