When in Rome! Day 1

We just arrived in Rome today! We left for the airport at 9am yesterday and caught our flight at noon to Atlanta. We took the redeye out of Atlanta last night and arrived here this morning. By the time we got to the hotel it was around 1pm and we’ve been getting settled and unpacked. We took a walk to try and find a converter for Bill’s CPAP, but none of the stores that were open sold them and everything else was closed due to it being a Sunday. It was a nice walk though and we got to see part of the city at least. We walked home through a pretty park next to the hotel. We are staying at the Parco Dei Principi Grand Hotel while we’re here in Rome! We went to the Edward Jones Welcome Dinner and met some interesting people at our table. One couple was from Louisiana and are big into cooking and hunting.  We talked with them for a while!  Super nice people!  We plan to get to bed EARLY tonight as we are both so jet lagged!  We'll start the day fresh tomorrow!  The picture below is the garden on the hotel grounds.  It's a small hotel, but very pretty.
