Service at St. Mary's!

Before Katelyn even came home from her mission, she signed us up to give service at St. Mary's Foodbank down in Phoenix. Katelyn and I had fun together this morning! We got there a bit late, so we got the job nobody wanted-- hahaha! It was our job to pick up the empty boxes off the ground and flatten them for recycling as the other people unloaded the food from them. (They just tossed them onto the ground-- making it hard work for us!) We had to pick up all the plastic off the floor as well, and put it in a big bin. We also loaded all the flattened cardboard into a huge dumpster looking thing. It was surprisingly a lot of fun, even though it was pretty physical work! Katelyn was sore too, from her 9 mile run the day before! It felt good helping others who have nothing to eat! Fun morning!!!
