Imma be honest my motivation to write this email is zero BUT the streak must go on! This week was awesome. RIP David. He moved and doesn't have a phone so we have no idea how to get his new addy but hopefully Sumter Sisters (love that place) will be able to find him somehow. PRAY!
We talked about the role and gift of prophets with a lot of people this week and HOLY AM I GRATEFUL FOR PRESIDENT NELSON. The man just about gave me a heart attack (and I'm not the one that's 99) when he posted that he won't be at conference! But his talk made up for it. It was legendary as always. And EMILY BELLE FREEMAN SPOKE AHHHH. Y'all you don't know how long I have been PRAYING for her to give a talk in conference and it was everything I hoped it would be. Soooooooooo good! Anyway there have been so many cool testimony builders as I have been able to testify of Joseph Smith and our current prophet! This Church is so full and true and is set apart from all other churches with our prophets set apart by God! We told our friend Shavickie about prophets and General Conference and she started CRYING. She said the Spirit was telling her it was true:,)
Face masks (pt. 2) and Conference??? Lol the Elders (THE Vaivaka and Thompson) and the senior couple the Smiths were down, so we did them for the evening session of General Conference lol. We watched the other sessions with some of our friends at members houses! Donna came to the Nebeker's house with us and the kids were going crazy the whole time bahaha... conference bingo and dollars came in clutch though.
We also watched with the Phillips and their two girls were going crazy with their stickers and poster boards (Olivia gave me a spider man sticker #winning) and Sister Phillips said/yelled above her screaming kiddos, "Yep when you have kids, sweet and peaceful General Conference goes out the window" lol.
Sunday sessions were with the Molano's (they fed us spaghetti during morning session) and the Work's (also gave us spaghetti during the afternoon session). Who knew spaghetti could be a conference tradition haha! Sister Work's grandson Jacob is autistic and wasn't able to get baptized when he was eight but we are teaching him now and he wants to get baptized so badly! He's 15 and has such a pure testimony of Jesus Christ!
Here's some of my fav quotes from conference:

Here's some of my fav quotes from conference:
“While our families aren’t perfect, we can perfect our love for others until it becomes a constant, unchanging, no-matter-what kind of love—the type of love that supports change and allows for growth in return.” —Sister Tamara W. Runia
"THINK CELESTIAL"—President Russell M. Nelson
“Remember and always focus on Jesus Christ... As you come to Him, you will be rewarded with strength to face life’s challenges, courage to do what is right, and the ability to fulfill your mission in mortality.” —Elder Dale G. Renlund
“No leader has ever shown more courage, no humanitarian more kindness, no physician has cured more disease and no artist has been more creative than Jesus Christ. … I testify that Jesus Christ is not only our hero, He is our Lord, our King, the Savior and Redeemer of mankind.” —Bishop W. Christopher Waddell
"Jesus Christ will meet us WHERE we are AS we are." —President Emily Belle Freeman
"His is a mission of condescension... it is also a mission of ascension." —President Emily Belle Freeman
"Everything you choose to do depends on the DEGREE of relationship you want to experience with Jesus Christ." —President Emily Belle Freeman
(Can you tell I really love Emily Belle Freeman? Haha and it's not only for the name either;)
“The Atonement of Jesus Christ has made immortality a verity and the possibility of exalted family relationships a reality.” —Elder D. Todd Christofferson
“‘The worth of souls is great in the sight of God’. It is as simple as that. We are gathering God’s children in these last days that they might have ‘blessings poured out upon their heads’ and the promise of ‘the riches of eternity’.” —Elder Ronald A. Rasband
"Truth is critical for us to establish and strengthen our relationship with God, find peace and joy, and reach our divine potential." —Elder John C. Pingree
