SUCHHHH a fun week! We had an AMAZING lesson with Shavickie! It went completely not as planned and the Spirit just took over but God's love and our love for her was so strong for the hard things she is going through. It was a good reminder that this gospel is not to be treated as a checklist! Honestly sometimes the work can get like that. Checklists are the easier way but Charity is the higher and harder way. I still have a LONGGGGG way to go with charity but I have been praying for that gift everyday. I am memorizing this scripture to recognize when I am doing the opposite of and having charity:
1 Corinthians 13:3-8
3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; 7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
CHARITY NEVER FAILS. Pray for it, cherish it, search for it in others. All that we do is nothing without it. It is pure. It is Christ. It is how we let Him more deeply into our hearts.

Fun Thangs
-EXCHANGES: Went to Newberry with Sista Hoffman--an absolute PARTY. Missionary work wise was booty. No one answered the door and lessons canceled except for Nicole's! She's preparing for baptism and loves tea so pray for her to be able to enjoy drinking that herbal goodness. Hoffy's pizza glasses drip is unreal. We stopped by this drug store in Prosperity (town prospers in everything but Jesus apparently) cuz we needed some ice cream after our 12th no answer/rejection and Blue Bell Cherry Ice cream is Supreme! Then we got some burgers and sat by Lake Murray on a dock for the sunset--it was pretty epic. THEN I FINALLY GOT TO SEE MY BESTIE KATIE LAMB! She's a fam friend in Newberry who married my Dad's mission companion and she was the daughter of the Mission President in Brazil! Haha yes she met her husband on his mission and yes he was an AP (with my Dad) so her dad and her got to know them really well. We took pictures in front of the painting that Katie "stole" from the Brazil, Curitiba mission office so that was cool to have something sentimental and hear about my Dad's mission from someone on my mission<3 HE was and is such a devoted, humble and loving follower of God. Love ya Dad. Also HAPPY BDAY EVE!
-Also HAPPY BDAY TO MEGAN MY CUTE SISTER!
-Another exchange I stayed in Gilbert/Lake Murray with Sista Alexander!!! MY AUGUSTA BESTIE AHHHHH! Reminisced on our last exchange like 8 months ago... kinda depressing that it's been so long but we HAD SO MUCH FUN! Heart attacked lots of people and talked to lots of people. Found an Augusta street so of course we had to take a pic. Went on a walk after our member meal with cute recent convert Nicole Tolman and her fam. Found some cool Halloween decorations.
-On Pday we did some fun shopping/thrifting and found some pretty cute dresses that we def did not buy aha and picked out our wedding bouquets at Hobby Lobby lol...
-Ray and I watched this fun movie. P&P (Prophets and Priesthood). Was pretty fire ngl. We learned a lot:)
-Not a ton of teaching this week but we definitely stayed busy haha. (Too many meetings tbh) Ray is SO EPIC. I LOVE HER SO MUCHHHHH! She has so much charity. I don't know where the week went. Every one of them go by faster and faster but it's fine--I'm fine haha.

-MY BESTIE AMANDA JAMESON FROM MY BABY AREA IN ANDERSON
GOT BAPTIZED ON SATURDAY!!!!! I love them soooooo much and she has come such a
long way from in total 5 years of miracles and God working on her (and Thomas
who went from alcoholic to Ward Mission Leader) and first starting to read the
Book of Mormon little by little when I was there. Then finally entering into that
covenant of baptism and gift with God! I'm so grateful also that my MTC companion Sista Myers
got to be there for 6 months of Amanda's conversion as well. I've been able to
read her emails on the amazing relationship and work God and them have created with
the Jameson's. They played a cute song with the Primary kiddos with the
ukulele and Sista Busby also played a song she wrote for Amanda:,) Bishop went up after and said, "Not a lot of people get songs written for them besides
Taylor Swifts 100 ex boyfriends and you, so that's pretty cool!" Lol. I miss that Anderson ward. They are so epic...but yeah I'M SO HAPPY FOR AMANDA!
-We went to a Harry Potter birthday party and I got sorted
by the sorting hat into.... Slytherin... ummmmm never expected that lol...
-Alsooooo I forgot my tag at church on Sunday--very big
party foul but the testimonies were all on repentance and not judging and being
a missionary with or without a tag haha! So that was a sign I'm still in
progress with my forgetfulness and daily repentance and I shouldn't worry about
the judgements of others and rely more fully on God's grace!
Southern Thangs
People here hang glass bottles everywhere to ward off evil spirits. They are coming out more during the spooky season lol.
Currently carving pumpkins right now. Will send pics of the President Nelson Jack o Lantern pumpkin next week lol. (We got pro carvers in our district all doing fancy church things while Ray and I are doing happy faces--kinda lame but A for effort lol!)
LOVE Y'ALLLLLLLLL
