I got bit by an ALLIGATOR (Katelyn's Letter)

10.10.2022

Hey y'all!

The title is totally click bait baha. We did see an alligator though! It was the last full week of the transfer ahhhh what the what?! I can't believe it --missions are wack y'all! I've learned LOTS and I love the people here and the connections I have made. Its incredible!!!

Seeds of Faith
So this week I've learned about how our unique talents can really help others when we use them the way God wants! Many people know I made rings a lot before my mission and I really missed it so we went to a craft store to get stuff to start making them again. We ran into one of our friends that we have been talking to and we had a really good conversation and will meet with them again this week! Then I made rings and we gave them to people. I plan to make more in the future! It has been a blessing to see how my talents and character can help build connections and friendships!

Mathew 25:23- His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

*INVITATION*
Let us be faithful over the talents and strengths we have and use them to serve others! Take something you enjoy doing and uplift someone with it this week!! You will find more joy in the Lord as you follow His will and center your efforts around Him!

Fun Things
-WE SAW AN ALLIGATOR!!! It was in a lake and we were both just shocked when it swam close to us ahhhh...
-THE JAMESON FAM FROM ANDERSON CAME TO SURPRISE WEST! I planned it with them without West knowing and we were driving to the restaurant when I realized we were gonna get there too early for the surprise, so I faked emergency status needa pee so we stopped by a CVS to take up time which the place didn't even have a bathroom. Luckily my comp didn't notice LOL. We got there with perfect timing and West was just sooooo happy! It was an amazing night with them. I've missed them tons and everyone else in Anderson!!
-I sang with the Aycock Fam (they are SO FUN) at a Stake Relief Society activity! Super fun. They are amazing and a very talented family.
-All our members here are AWESOME! Meals with them are always so fun.
-THE Sister RISKA came with us for a day again and we had a GOOD TIME #IYKYK

Gratitude
-Pink sunsets!
-Kiddos and the excitement they have for life!
-God for giving me hard things because He knows I need to learn from them and the person I need to become.
-The strength I receive from y'alls prayers--the power of Faith is REAL Y'ALL!
-McDonalds diet coke comes in clutch y'all ngl...

hello
Hello! I’m Mindy. I love Spring and Fall weather, the BYU Cougars, reading, hiking and of course…my family! I LOVE being with them doing just about anything…but usually attending one of their games or just hanging out!
