Family Dinner with Everyone Here for Mom's Funeral

All but 2 of Grandma's grandchildren (Jason and Harrison Redford and Jason's wife and 3 kids) are in town for her funeral tomorrow! Everyone else was able to make it! That's AMAZING!!! Brooke and Katelyn flew in late last night/this morning-- by the time they got home... Uncle Doug, Nancy and Nikki (and her husband Adam and son Palmer) were also able to travel here-- Nancy all the way from Hawaii! CRAZY!! We also got to meet Jordan's serious girl friend Emily who wanted to come to meet the family and boy did she! (She was sad that she couldn't meet mom.) It has been a busy and hard day for me... Robin, Tracy, Allison and I dressed mom at the funeral home this morning. That was a sweet experience, but also very hard at the same time! It is still so hard accepting that she is no longer with us! I can't imagine what it would feel like without the knowledge of the beautiful and merciful Plan of Salvation! That knowledge has brought me so much comfort in these last few weeks! I know I will see mom again. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner brought in by our ward RS and all the cousins and their families enjoyed a pizza party thanks to Papa! We took pictures at dusk but I wanted to make sure I documented all of mom's posterity that came for her funeral. I know it will be more crazy tomorrow, so I did it tonight. Conner LOVES Katelyn and enjoyed playing with her tonight! It was fun to hold Luke and just BE TOGETHER! I'm so glad family was close and surrounding me with so much love-- what a comfort!
