Our Boat's Maiden Voyage @ Saguaro Lake!

We picked up our boat today!  We need to pick out a name for this beauty!  It took a lot longer at the boat shop than we had anticipated, to go over everything in the boat and paperwork, etc.  Then, they didn't have the right hitch to tow it, so we had to wait even longer!  We FINALLY made it out to Saguaro Lake by about 6pm to do our boat testing with Steve Osborne.  He was already there and ready to go!  We got the boat in the water and he immediately started to show us everything the boat can do!  I have to admit, I was feeling VERY overwhelmed with all the information!  We headed out onto the lake and Brooke was the first to try out surfing!  She popped right up and figured it out quickly!  The boat just does ALL the work and makes it so easy!  Then I tried it thinking I might have a little more difficult of a time, but no!  I got right up too!  I'm a back foot dominant surfer due to being a slalom water skier my whole life!   (That's what Steve said.)  I have to learn to equalize my weight on both legs rather than leaning back, as you can see in my pictures...  It was a fun evening and it was beautiful out at Saguaro Lake!  The water was so nice!  It wasn't cold at all and it was really calm!!  By the time we were finished, it was already dark, so we got to turn the lights on and boy does it light up!  That was fun!  We even tested the stereo and sound system and it's got such a booming sound!  I think everyone on the lake heard our music!  Hahahaha!  We got the boat out of the water and wiped all the gel coat and got it ready to travel home.  We were all tired but we sure had fun spending the afternoon with Brooke!
