Mother's Day!!!!

It was a perfect day! We even got a surprise phone call from Megan to wish me a Happy Mother's Day! (We weren't expecting a call and had decided not to Skype just because we were going to see her on Thursday anyway, but she got special permission from her Mission President, to call me.) The first time she tried to call, I was sitting in RS with my phone turned off because I don't keep in on during church. She caught us again at home and we got to talk for about 5 minutes right before the VC closed. It was so fun to hear her voice! I was even content with hearing her voice just on my voicemail!!! It will be so fun to reunite with her this coming Thursday! I can hardly wait, but it just doesn't seem real yet. I guess it won't until we actually see her and get that BIG HUG!!!! Anyway, Bill cooked a great dinner and we had Mom over to enjoy it with us. Church was absolutely wonderful-- I enjoyed the talks SO MUCH! Mom gave one of the talks in a series of talks with women of different ages. The youngest was Cecilia Waite who is 10, then Callie Grover who is 18, then Patty Staley who is a young mother and Mom who is a grandmother. It was really sweet! They all gave great talks and shared neat experiences. I especially LOVED Patty's talk-- she's a single mother and we had Hailey Parker and her 2 1/2 year old son Kaden at church with us. I'm so glad that Hailey got to hear her talk. It was just such a great day! And of course Brooke insisted that we have a photo session!
