5AM Family Portraits! It was worth it for the beautiful sunrise!! Katelyn's Piano Recital, as well.

5.20.2017

Claire Waite did a beautiful job capturing our family this morning bright and early!  We all had to get up at 3am to get ready...ugh!  But it was so worth it...she did an amazing job!  The desert is gorgeous and the colors are beautiful for a family picture!  Who would've thought that???  AND, the best part?  She got our whole family photographed in less than 2 hours...we were FINISHED before 7am!  That's a record for our family!  And we had lots of fun!  Claire really got everyone to smile and look great.  Plus, she had a treat for us after!  We just might have to use her again!  Family pictures aren't supposed to be fun, but these were!  Here are some pictures we just took on our iPhone, except for the very last one.  Claire texted that one to me from her camera to give us a sneak peek.  I think I'm in love with it, and I haven't even seen any of the other images she took!  I'm excited to see the finished product on all the pictures she took!  These were taken in two different spots on Thunderbird Mountain over by the Temple!

I'm in love with this picture!

...and Claire sent me this one too!  What a great shot of these cute girls!

Changing gears-- this photo is from Katelyn's piano recital this afternoon.  This will be her last recital as she in not planning on doing piano in high school, with all the other extra-curricular activities she will be doing.  All of my girls opted not to take piano in high school, but I think I did pretty well keeping them in it through Jr. High!!!!  (That was always the rule.)  Katelyn did a beautiful job today on her piece.  She played Mozart's Theme and Variations of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.

hello
Hello! I’m Mindy. I love Spring and Fall weather, the BYU Cougars, reading, hiking and of course…my family! I LOVE being with them doing just about anything…but usually attending one of their games or just hanging out!
