The day's major activities began with the championship basketball game V. Lincoln Prep. The girls played their hearts out, but it wasn't enough...they were ALL so disappointed--they wanted it so badly! It's always so hard to watch this happen. It was a great season-- this game being their FIRST conference loss. (They only had one other loss and that was to a non-conference team.) They had a great season and should hold their heads up high as they think about all of their improvement and all of their successes! Great season girls!!!
Pre-game huddle...
Pre-game prayer!
Team picture after this hard loss-- Izzy is holding our 2nd place trophy!
Katelyn and Sydney with our trophy-- I often got these 2 mixed up on the court!
The team was disappointed, but I think they knew they gave it their best!
Here is a poster that Allyssa Muller made for when we welcome Megan back in a few days...13 to be exact! Time seems like it is slowing down a little! Hahahaha! It was so sweet of Allyssa to make this sign. It will be fun to hold at the airport as we watch for that cute missionary to appear!
Katelyn played a body guard in her play at GP tonight! (This weekend has been FULL of GP activities!!) She had fun in Drama this semester and seemed to really enjoy performing in this play. She had 3 lines, but only said 2 of them because someone skipped a page in the dialogue-- oops! Haha! The name of the play was "The Goose Girl".
