Tyler Crump's Mission Farewell

It was Tyler Crump's Mission Farewell today!  He gave such a great talk!  He didn't use his notes and really spoke from his heart.  I loved how he challenged, and boldly, I might add, his nonmember friends to pray and ask if the church is true.  We went to the Crump's house after the meeting and enjoyed seeing so many we haven't seen for so many years... Donnalee and Maleah to name a few.  I thought Donnalee was Maleah at first!  It was great to visit with friends and people who really seem like family!  We've known the Crump's for almost 20 years and our kids basically grew up together when they were still a part of our Edward Jones region.  Tyler is such a cute guy and is going to be a fabulous missionary in the Helsinki, Finland Mission.  He leaves this Wednesday!  He was sweet to McKenzie today... he gave us all hugs when we walked into the chapel this morning, including McKenzie and reminded her that the last time he saw her was when we got Coldstone ice cream several years ago.  He has a great memory-- but even more so, a loving heart and was so cute with McKenzie!  He is so warm and friendly!  Helsinki...WATCH OUT!!

 I'm not sure where McKenzie was during this picture.  Kyle isn't there either because he was back at the church doing his Bishop's duties.  Lincoln gets back from Study Abroad in Spain TWO days AFTER Tyler leaves for the MTC!  It was a gorgeous day and we enjoyed some yummy breakfast food and visiting with all of our good friends!
