Katelyn's Cross Country Meet at Freestone Park in Gilbert

It was another good day for Katelyn this morning! She had a great run!! She ended up with 3rd overall for the girls! It was early and actually kind of cold-- for me, but perfect for the athletes! It was a pretty flat course and the 2 girls ahead of Katelyn maintained that lead for almost the whole race... they were way out ahead, too. I haven't seen them at any of the other meets, so not sure where they came from. Katelyn does well on the hilly courses-- at least that's what she says. She can get a good lead by just attacking those hills, where this course was totally flat. Katelyn's a great little runner! I admire her tenacity!
