Father's Day, Farewells and Homecoming and 113 Degree HEAT!!

We drove home after the banquet last night for 2 reasons--1 to be home with all our girls for Father's Day and 2 because there were 2 farewells and a homecoming in our Sacrament Meeting that we didn't want to miss. Alex Maskovich and Jason Anderson are leaving this Wednesday for their missions to Little Rock, Arkansas and Bangkok, Thailand respectively and Mark Anderson is returning from Indonesia on his mission. It was tough... we didn't get home until just after midnight and had to get up for 8am church! UGH!!!! But it was worth it for the above mentioned reasons. It was a really nice Father's Day, other than the heat!

Sean Kolhase got home this week too and came to hear Mark. These are great boys! I love what Sean said when I asked him to sum up his mission in 5 words or less-- he said, "It was the most fortifying experience I've ever had!" (OK...less than 10 words!)
