Day 2 of Regional Meetings

We had another fun day!  Bill, Katelyn and I woke up early and went running... it's really hilly up here but the subdivision we ran in had a nice path and it was fairly level... by fairly I mean lots of hills but not too bad.  Then we cleaned up and all went to breakfast together.  It tasted so good!  The best thing about a weekend away is not having to cook, wash dishes or make beds!  After that, I went to the Spouse Meeting where we assembled the good night bags for a children's shelter here in Tucson. (That's what I bought all of those PJ's for...)  Katelyn just relaxed in the room.  After Dad's meetings were over, we went and got lunch and then headed over to the Tucson temple construction site.  All the walls are up and they are finishing the dome.  Interior work has already started as well. It's going to be a beautiful temple!  It was fun to go see it and visualize such a beautiful finished product!

This temple will have the largest dome so far of any of the temples with domes.

Before dinner we went to the photo area where THEY dressed us up like cowboys and cowgirls.

We got these  cute pictures...pretty tough cowgirl there on the left...steer clear of her partner!

After a yummy cowboy dinner, we made s'mores... it was a coolish night until you got near this fire!

That's the hottest weather I've ever cooked s'mores in!  At least there was a breeze!

We needed a 10' pole to roast them!  It was hot right there in your face!

But they were sure good!  Katelyn and I made 2!
