Celebrating McKenzie's 22nd Birthday! (2 days EARLY!!)

It's McKenzie's birthday celebration tonight and I'd been looking forward to this all day! It's been so hot I really didn't want to cook dinner. McKenzie chose Olive Garden (of course) for her birthday restaurant so we picked up Grandma and headed over. But first, we headed to the West's to give those 3 cute little girls the stuffed animals we made them. They were super excited to get them. A little bit quiet and shy but I'm sure that will change and they familiarize themselves with the culture and language. (Mindy said they are trying to teach them that they can look adults in the eye-- over in Africa children don't do that.) They are so cute! The oldest is Maggie, then Macie, then Grace.

Grace was the first to choose and she picked the monkey...with no hesitation!

The next to choose was the next oldest, Macie and she chose the cat. Maggie didn't get to choose but loved the bunny and her floppy ears. She was the softest one I told her!

They are super sweet little girls. It was fun to meet them!
