Katelyn was on FIRE This Week in Her 2 basketball games!! Wow!

It has been a great first week of the season! Katelyn played so well in both of her games. She has improved so much since last year-- I can hardly believe it. She was always where she needed to be and was so confident on the court. They won their first game v. Anthem Prep at home 48-22 on Wednesday! Katelyn made 8 of those points with 4 baskets! On Saturday they played Arete Prep and beat them 27-5! Katelyn made 10 of those points with 5 baskets! She had great defense, many assists and handled the ball so well on both games! On Saturday she did a quick cross-over dribble to the basket and made the shot! She also has a great left-handed dribble!! She can play up top or down low-- the coach must be loving having her on the team-- she can play her anywhere!! I love to watch my girls play and it was even more fun to have Marilyn and Jim there at Saturdays' game for them to see her play as well. They really enjoyed watching her too. We had a nice visit all the way out to Mesa and back, as well. Here are some pictures of Saturday's game.
